On the advice of some early readers it was suggested that I include an Analyst Notebook (AnB) styled chart of some of the story elements to assist readers.
For those unfamiliar with AnB charts, named that for the file extension of these types of documents, they are the software version of the seemingly ubiquitous trope of a board covered with pictures and other evidentiary materials in an investigation with relationship between elements identified by string connecting them. This is a favored scene element in popular media to represent the elements of an investigation.
I have provided what I see as relatively spoiler free AnB styled chart at the end of the books as a reference aid for anyone who might find these useful or interesting. For those not wishing to have any spoilers, but still interested in using these charts, all elements represented on the charts are revealed by chapter nineteen. These were created with the freely available version of Maltego Casefile by Paterva as opposed to IBM’s Analyst Notebook or Palantir software.
